The train can be taken from Helsinki to Karjaa (Karis), and it takes about 1 hour. Make sure to contact us well in advance before you arrive, so we can arrange to pick you up at the train station for a small fee. If it´s possible, please arrive during daytime.
On weekdays, the first train to leave Helsinki to go to Karjaa/Karis is at 5h28, last one is at 21h06. The other way round, the first one to go to the capital is at 6h28 and last one at 21h58. There is a train almost every hour.
During the weekend, it's the same schedule except for the first train from Karjaa/Karis to Helsinki, it's at 8h28. And there is no train every hour, it depends on the time.
You can also easily go to / come from Turku by train, 1 hour away.

You can borrow a bike to go to Karjaa, it takes around 30 minutes.
It is possible to rent a car at cost price, and only after doing a driving test with us.
And there is a bus to take you to Karjaa or Lohja, only on weekdays.
The place is surrounded by nature, perfect for walks through the woods, or swimming in the nearby lake. You can book horse riding lessons on site (find more information here).
The nearest town is Karjaa (Karis), 10 minutes away, where you can find shops, cafés and restaurants, etc. There are also activities and things to see and do in the region (Raasepori/Raseborg) like visiting the charming villages Fiskars and Billnäs, shop at different flea markets, spend time at the seaside town Tammisaari (Ekenäs), etc.
From Karjaa, it's easy to take buses or trains to visit different places and cities, like Helsinki and Turku, both 1 hour away.
And if you like skiing, Finland's southernmost ski hill Påminne is only 15 minutes from the Hub.
Yes, there are a few parking spots and you can leave your car for free.
During big events, there might not be space available for everyone, so check with us prior to your arrival.
